Tinazzi is a family-owned Veneto producer founded in 1968, with estates around Lake Garda and Verona in the heart of Valpolicella country. Their Valpolicella DOC is made from the region’s classic native grapes — primarily Corvina, with Rondinella and often a touch of Corvinone or Molinara — vinified in a fresh, unoaked (or lightly aged) style that emphasizes the wine’s signature juicy cherry fruit. In the glass it’s a bright ruby red with aromas of cherry, raspberry, violets, and a hint of pepper or almond, followed by an easy-drinking, dry palate with gentle tannins and zippy acidity.
