Produced by Bosio Family Estates, a four-generation Piedmont winemaking family, from Moscato Bianco grapes grown in the hills around Asti in northwest Italy. Like all true Moscato d’Asti, it’s made in the frizzante (gently sparkling) style with fermentation halted early, leaving natural grape sweetness and a low alcohol level of around 5.5% — light enough for lunchtime sipping, as Piedmontese tradition intended. In the glass it shows a pale straw color with soft bubbles and an intensely perfumed nose of peach, apricot, white flowers, and honey, followed by a sweet but lively palate where crisp acidity keeps everything fresh rather than syrupy.
