Unshackled Sparkling Rosé is the bubbly from Unshackled, the more accessible sister label of Napa’s famous Prisoner Wine Company. It’s a brut-style California sparkler made primarily from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced across the state’s premier growing regions, and — unusually for its price point — aged around 36 months en tirage (on the lees in bottle), which adds a subtle creamy, doughy complexity beneath the fresh fruit. It pours a delicate pale pink with fine, persistent bubbles and aromas of wild strawberry, watermelon, and citrus, leading to a dry, refreshing palate of red berries, apricot, and yellow peach with vibrant acidity and a light mineral undertone.
