MOSOLE

Passi di Luce (“steps of light”) is the entry-level line from Tenuta Mosole, a family winery run by Lucio Mosole in the eastern Veneto near Venice — and the most widely seen bottling is the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC. Despite being the estate’s value tier, it’s made with the same care as their flagship wines: grapes from clay-limestone soils of Dolomitic origin, soft pressing, cool temperature-controlled fermentation, and four months resting on the lees in stainless steel, which adds a touch of texture to the crisp profile. In the glass it’s a delicate straw yellow with clean, intense aromas, leading to a dry palate dominated by golden apple with fresh acidity and a versatile, easy-drinking character. Serve well-chilled with shellfish, lean fish, light pastas, cured meats, or hard cheeses.
