Lodali is a third-generation family winery founded in 1939, based in Treiso in the heart of the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont’s Langhe hills. Their Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC is 100% Nebbiolo — the noble grape behind Barolo and Barbaresco — hand-harvested and aged simply in concrete tanks plus a few months in bottle, giving an approachable, drink-now expression of the variety. It shows a bright ruby color with garnet reflections, delicate floral and rose aromas, and a lively palate of crushed red fruit, sour cherry, and subtle spice and earth, framed by Nebbiolo’s signature grippy-but-silky tannins and fresh acidity.
