QUERCETO DI CASTELLINA

Querceto di Castellina is a small, family-run organic estate (about 11 hectares) in the upper slopes of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti Classico zone; the property has been in the Di Battista family since 1945. It pours a bright ruby with aromas of fresh red and black cherries, strawberries, violets, and dried flowers, leading to a medium-bodied palate of vibrant fruit, lively acidity, and refined tannins, finishing with subtle tobacco and cocoa.
